I remember that day well. And what I remember most about it was that, at least on Oppo, the freaking out was kept to a minimum as everybody tried to help each other figure out what the hell was going on and how to use the new platform. It was possibly Oppo's finest hour, at least since I've been around.

There were many more comments on this post. And other posts of the era. I believe that testing and various modifications resulted in some odd glitches. Like this.
